Car Graphics INFO Center

What kind of materials do you use for car graphics?

High quality is our priority at Zarvox. We print at high resolution on premium vinyl materials. These are manufactured by top brands like 3M, Avery, and Oracal. Zarvox uses the highest quality cast vinyl. This is used for car decals, car wraps, and DOT (Department of Transportation) decals. We use premium vinyl with an air release backing for bubble-free installation. For personal car decorations, you can choose from various vinyls. These include matte black, black gloss, and carbon fiber. For visibility, we use perforated vinyl on vehicle windows. It is made up of 50% vinyl and 50% holes.

How long will my vehicle graphics last?

We offer cast laminates to ensure the longest durability of up to 5 years on vertical surfaces. Please note that when car graphics are placed on horizontal surfaces such as hoods or roofs of vehicles, durability may decrease due to direct sunlight exposure.

How much do you charge for car graphics?

Pricing for car graphics depends on the design. This includes the size and detail of the graphics. It also varies if you want professional installation. You can choose the selections that are right for your project on our car graphics page https://zarvox.com/car-graphics/ and get an immediate custom quote.

Will car magnets stick to all vehicles?

Yes, our magnets are designed for promotional vehicle use and will stick to any flat vehicle surface made of metal. Magnetic car signs work best on flat surfaces. Please note that car magnets won’t work on non-metal surfaces. These include fiberglass or plastic doors. They also won’t stick to areas with extensive body damage repaired using bondo or putty.

Can a car magnet damage my car?

No, they will not damage a car or its paint. Though car magnets do protect the paint underneath them from sun exposure and prevent fading. For this reason, we recommend occasionally removing the car magnets. This allows the area to get some sun exposure.

Can you make vehicle graphics that adhere to a contoured surface?

Yes, we can create a car wrap design that works with the contours and shape of your vehicle. At Zarvox, we create custom-fitted vehicle graphics. These are based on the actual measurements of your car. This helps make the most of your vehicle’s space and contours, grabbing the attention of your target audience.

Can vinyl vehicle graphics damage my car?

No, vinyl graphics won’t damage your car. However, improper installation or removal can cause issues. For the best results, we recommend using our professional vehicle wrap installation service.

Can you make my logo into a decal for my car?

Yes, we are able to create a custom decal of your logo. When it comes to custom logo decals please send us a vector file (.ai or .eps) and the approximate size desired so that we can quote accurately. This is because detailed, narrow, or complex shapes will take much longer to prepare than a logo with a simple shape such as a rectangle or circle. If you don’t have a vector logo file, email info@zarvox.com. We can help create a high-quality vector logo for your business.

Can you print a car decal that matches the pantone colors in my logo?

Yes, we use the Pantone Matching System (PMS). This is a standardized color system. It provides printers with a matching guide for accurate color printing. Using this system, we can print using process colors, also known as CMYK, to accurately match the Pantone colors in your design. CMYK is the standard color model in printing and refers to the four inks used: cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (black). Full color graphics are produced by using a mixture of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black ink.

What kind of artwork files do you accept?

For car decals and magnets please provide us with a vector version of your art in adobe illustrator (.ai or .eps file). If you only have raster images (.jpg, .png, .gif, .pdf, .psd) please send the highest quality you have available. For the best vehicle wrap results, we recommend working with an experienced vehicle wrap designer. They should send us a mock-up of the design and ready-to-print art. Our DOT decals and personal vehicle graphics are easily created on our website when you request a quote.

What quality or resolution does my artwork need to be for a vehicle wrap?
